Midfielder Deal Back On?

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce has been struggling to add to his squad at the Reebok Stadium this summer, despite having drawn up a thorough list of potential targets.

However, following last week's reports that the player had agreed to move before making a dramatic late u-turn which left Bolton threatening legal action after he reportedly signed a legal document to sign for them, the transfer looked dead in the water.

Nevertheless reports emanating from Germany claim Allardyce has met with the midfielder, while covering the World Cup as a TV pundit, and ironed out the differences which will pave the way for a move to go through later this week.

Hamann reportedly said: "I want to have another chance for a two or three-year contract and I also want to play every week."
