Meite - 'Bring Back Big Sam!'

Bolton lost their seventh game of the season against Arsenal on Saturday and the Trotters are bottom of The Premier League.

The former Marseille central defender also fears star player Nicolas Anelka could leave next January.

"We can't find a solution," he told L'Equipe.

"Losing here [at Arsenal] is almost normal. Arsenal played a great game. We did well in the first half. We defend, we defend but can't do it for 90 minutes and we are obliged to crack.

"We can't continue to play like that. We have to find a solution very quickly because we are sinking.

"Maybe the only solution would be the return of Allardyce. But it is impossible. Or maybe the messiah!"

"I have been surprised by his departure (Sammy Lee) but it has been a solution between him and the club, that are trying to find a trigger," he added.

"The coach had the intention to play football but it is difficult to do it at Bolton. Today we are going down and down.

"It is worrying. He [Nicolas Anelka] would be a huge loss for the club. But I understand him. We can't give him good balls. The passes go over his head. He is asking himself questions and it is normal."
