"I'm Starting to Adapt" - Johan

"I was brought to the club to score goals and five goals in a season is not good for a striker," Elmander said in the Manchester Evening News.

"My target at the start of the season was to score 10. It's been an up and down season.

"I started out really well and then I got injured. Then I got back on track only to be injured again. However, over the course of the last couple of games, I have felt better and better.

"I'm starting to adapt more to the English game because at the beginning it was stronger and harder than I expected. But I'm sure I'm not the only player new to The Premier League to think that.

"The tempo is much quicker over here and every game is a war. Sometimes in France it wasn't like that."
