Senegal coach Guy Stephan has confirmed that Bolton Wanderers winger Khalilou Fadiga will be in line for an international recall following a successful return to first team action.

Fadiga returned to first team action during the FA Cup game with Ipswich Town earlier this month having spent two months on the sidelines after a heart operation, but now Stephan has suggested that the Wanderers man is in line for a return to the national fold.

"I saw him when he played 90 minutes for the reserves and it is so good he is back in action, As soon as he has a role in the first team at Bolton he will be in my thoughts for selection" he said

The former Auxerre and Club Brugge midfielder made an eye catching impact for Senegal in the 2002 World Cup in Japan and Korea alongside current Bolton team mate El-Hadji Diouf.
