Youth Team Take On Canaries

Bolton Wanderers Youth Academy are in action tonight as they take on Norwich City at Carrow Road in what is the third round of the FA Youth Cup.

Jimmy Phillips' young Wanderers team have gained many plaudits over the current season with the likes of Ricardo Vaz Te, Bedi Buval, Jason Talbot, Joey O'Brien and Charlie Comyn-Platt all impressing to make the step up to reserve team level and Norwich Academy Coach Sammy Morgan is all too wary of the threat which the young Wanderers team pose.

"Bolton are a Premiership club. They play in the North-West Academy league against the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Blackburn, so it's going to be a hard game," he said

Norwich look set to include Ryan Jarvis against the Wanderers after Nigel Worthington gave permission for the young striker to play despite having featured for the first team this season.
