Polish U17 international centre back Jaroslaw Fojut has signed a three year contract with Bolton Wanderers.

The 16-year old is nicknamed "The Butcher" in his homeland due to the way he plays and he told the Sport Express that he hopes to learn from more experienced defenders Fernando Hierro and Bruno N'Gotty during his time at the Reebok Stadium.

"I'm so happy,My dream has always been to play in The Premiership.I'm just 16-years-old and I want to work very hard here and make myself better.

"It's a great opportunity for me to play with such defenders as Fernando Hierro and Bruno N'Gotty."

Fojut is expected to spend time with the clubs Academy and Reserve Teams over the next season where it is hoped that he will continue his promising development. Only last year Portuguese kid Ricardo Vaz-Te was recruited under similar circumstances as "one for the future" and he has since become a part of the first team squad making his debut in the Premiership against Middlesbrough in April.
