Bolton Wanderers reserves will be hoping to put last week's Lancashire Senior Cup exit behind them as they take on Manchester United tonight in the latter stages of the Manchester Senior Cup.

The Trotters despatched of Manchester City in the previous round of the competition and will be hoping for a similar result this time around against their neighbours United.

In September the Reds ran out 3-0 winners at the County Ground with the goals coming in each half from Sylvain Ebanks-Blake, Chris Eagles and Guiseppe Rossi.

That defeat proved to be a blessing in disguise for the Wanderers second string, as they have only lost twice in all competitions since that night with defeats coming against Newcastle United and Leeds United shortly before the Christmas break.

Neil McDonald includes experienced players Blessing Kaku and Florent Laville in the Wanderers line up but the rest of the team is made up of Academy players.
