Bolton Wanderers reserves will be in action tonight as they take on Sunderland reserves in the FA Premier Reserve League which kicks off at 7pm.

The Trotters name a relatively experienced line up with Anthony Barness, Ibrahim Ba, Mario Jardel and Glen Little all featuring for Neil McDonald's team as they aim to build on their recent run which has seen them pick up slightly from the disasterous start to the season. For Ba and Barness it will enable them to get more match fitness under their belts having recently recieved treatment for injury. Jonathan Walters also returns to the side after his goalscoring exploits for the Republic of Ireland U21 team.

Sunderland include on-loan Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Alan Quinn in their starting line up, as well as fellow new boy Tommy Smith who was recently signed from Watford after his contract expired. Thomas Myhre, Joachim Bjorklund, Michael Proctor and Sean Thornton are the other members of the first team selected by Reserve Team manager Jocky Scott. Former Manchester United youngster Ben Clark starts at right back
