Reserves Take On Villa Tonight

The reserves take to the road this evening as they are to face Aston Villa reserves at Walsall's Bescot Stadium (kick off 7pm).

Neil McDonald's side have lost four out of their last six matches and will now be looking to restore an element of pride as they travel to the Midlands to take on the current FA Premier Reserve League (North) holders.

Earlier on in the season a wonder goal from midfielder Joey O'Brien gave the Wanderers a share of the spoils in an entertaining 1-1 draw at the County Ground and McDonald would take a similar result this evening.

Villa are once again topping the table but find themselves on the back of a defeat to Blackburn Rovers last week.

Bolton name experienced pair Andy Oakes and Florent Laville in their starting line up but Ricky Shakes is ruled out as he is about to complete a loan move to Bristol Rovers.

England youth international Robert Sissons is handed an opportunity in midfield and there is also a first appearance amongst the substitutes for young Matthew Cassidy.
