Reserves Take On The Blues

Bolton Wanderers Reserves will be hoping for their first win of the season in the FA Premier Reserve League as they take on Birmingham City Reserves at Damson Park in Solihull tonight.

Reserve Team Coach Neil McDonald has named a young and inexperienced line up for the trip to the Midlands as most of the first team squad are out on a training excersise in La Manga so the majority of older Academy youngsters all get a chance to shine, missing are Ricky Shakes and Ricardo Vaz Te whilst Wales U21 international Rhys Powell gets another chance at right back.

Birmingham have been on a similar run to the Wanderers in the FA Premier Reserve League losing their last three matches so manager Keith Bertschin will be keen to halt the slide against Wanderers tonight. They have a mixture of youth and experience in their line up. Ian Bennett, Bryan Hughes, Martin Grainger, Jeff Kenna, Luciano Figueroa and former Manchester United youngster Jovan Kirovski are the recognisable faces in the Blues line up.
