Reserves Take On Brum Tonight

Bolton Wanderers will take on Birmingham City for the second time in three days as the reserve teams go head to head at the County Ground in Leyland tonight.

So far it has been a very mixed season for Neil McDonald's young Wanderers side who are still in search of their first FA Premier Reserve league win having lost twice and drawn once in their opening matches of the campaign.

McDonald is has named a mixture of senior and academy players in his team tonight with run outs for Kevin Poole, Danny Livesey and recently signed World Cup star Khalilou Fadiga.

Frenchman Florent Laville features as he looks to continue the next stage of his recovery following a year on the sidelines due to a knee ligament injury.

Birmingham reserve boss Keith Bertschin names an inexperienced team with only Belgian goalkeeper Nico Vaesen having had any extensive first team experience.
