Reserves Take On Boro Tonight

The reserves will be hoping to make it three wins in three games this evening as they take on Middlesbrough at Central Avenue, Billingham.

Neil McDonald's men have secured important victories in recent weeks against the likes of Liverpool and Nottingham Forest so another victory in the North East against the Boro will push the Wanderers further up the table.

Last season the two sides slogged out a diar goalless draw at Central Avenue back in April, but it was Boro who got the points in the other fixture which was one of few reserve games to be held at the Reebok Stadium.

Bolton have named a number of experienced faces in their team including former England striker Les Ferdinand. There are also places for Tal Ben-Haim, Anthony Barness, Julio Cesar and Andy Oakes who returns following an ankle injury. Wanderers will be without striker James Sinclair who has a foot injury and Florent Laville who is out on loan at Coventry.

Boro meanwhile include many of last year's FA Youth Cup winning team, with only the ex-Manchester United man Mark Wilson having had any extensive first team experience.
