Bolton Wanderers reserves will be hoping to end a run of three successive defeats in the FA Premier Reserve League as they take on an in form Aston Villa team tonight at the County Ground, Leyland.

The Wanderers second string has already fallen to Everton, Middlesbrough and Manchester City in recent weeks and manager Neil McDonald will be hoping the reserves can notch up their first win from an in form Villa side who have claimed an impressive 10 points from their first four reserve games.

Bolton have included star names Mario Jardel and Ibrahim Ba in their line up whilst other experienced players such as Simon Charlton, Per Frandsen, Henrik Pedersen and ex-Villa keeper Kevin Poole get to play. Ndiwa Lord-Kangana will also play having since returned from a loan spell with Oldham Athletic. Superkid Ricardo Vaz Te is once again amongst the substitutes.

Villa include a youthful team with only Dutch goalkeeper Stefan Postma and the former Charlton Athletic captain Mark Kinsella being those with much experience.
