Bolton Wanderers Reserves play their second Manchester Senior Cup tie tonight as they welcome Manchester City Reserves to the County Ground in Leyland.

Wanderers drew their opening cup tie against City's arch rivals United last week but lost the resulting penalty shoot out. Meanwhile the Trotters will be keen to avenge the 2-0 defeat by City in the FA Premier Reserve League at Hyde last month.

Mario Jardel will get a chance to add to his two goals which he scored against Newcastle on Monday as he is named in an inexperienced Bolton squad which also includes the on loan Glen Little. Bedi Buval who made his debut against the Toon Army will keep his place whilst Jermaine Johnson is included after a loan move to Macclesfield Town broke down during the week.

City name a younger side than the one that was victorious a month ago but Nicky Weaver, Gerard Wiekens, Christian Negouai are the experienced names selected by City reserve team coach Asa Hartford who was once a Bolton player. Kasper Schmeichel, son of ex-Manchester United legend Peter takes his place on the bench.
