Reserves Face Toon Army Tonight

Bolton Wanderers Reserves will be hoping to secure their first FA Premier Reserve League win as they take on Newcastle United Reserves at the County Ground in Leyland tonight.

Reserve Team Coach Neil McDonald, an ex-Newcastle player has named a strong team to face the Magpies with Mario Jardel, Per Frandsen, Nicky Hunt, Kevin Poole and Glen Little all having first team experience under their belts.

French youngster Bedi Buval, a first year scholar who joined the club in the summer will also get his first opportunity at Reserve Team level.

Newcastle name quite a youthful side which includes ex-Wanderers defender Robbie Elliott. Other players with first team experience in the Magpies side include Hugo Viana, Michael Chopra and Shola Ameobi. Former Ipswich Town midfielder Darren Ambrose is also included in the Toon Army line up.
