If the pair come through the game successfully they could even be considered for first team action before the end of the season and that will be a massive boost for the Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce who initially felt that the duo could be sidelined until next season but thanks to the expertise of surgeon Dr Richard Steadman and the Bolton medical team they have made a quick return to the first team fold.

Reported Bolton target Djimi Traore is also included in the Reds starting eleven as is French duo Anthony Le Tallec and Florent Sinama-Pongolle, both of which have faced Wanderers at first team level earlier this campaign.
