Reserves Back In Action Tonight

Last updated : 10 January 2005 By Mark Heys
Bolton Wanderers reserves play their first game of the year this evening as they take on their West Bromwich Albion counterparts at the County Ground in Leyland.

The second string haven't been in competitive action since they defeated local rivals Manchester City in the Manchester Senior Cup competition back on 21st December.

Reserves boss Neil McDonald will be without defender Danny Livesey for this game as the 20-year old is currently out on loan with Conference high fliers Carlisle United.

Albion reserve manager Gary Shelton will be able to call on experienced defenders Darren Moore, Bernt Haas and Thomas Gaardsoe. Former Wanderers target Artim Sakiri is also amongst the travelling party to Lancashire.

In February of last year a goal from Guatemalan international Dwight Pezzarossi helped Bolton gain a 1-1 draw against Albion. The previous October had seen the Baggies run out 3-1 winners at the Hawthorns with the Wanderers consolation coming from winger Glen Little.

Team news will appear soon
