Reserves coach McDonald feels that playing against top quality internationals at reserve level will only be a good thing in preparing the youths for a possible first team call in the future.
"The majority of the senior professionals are high quality so I don't imagine they will be playing regularly in the reserves, maybe just the occasional game.
"The youngsters have a chance of getting into the reserves and playing against internationals from other clubs. It's a very tough and good learning background for them." he said
