Bolton reserves made it two wins in two games as they defeated a youthful Liverpool team 2-1 at the Racecourse Ground last night.

Portuguese striker Ricardo Vaz-Te was once again on the scoresheet, the 18-year old scoring twice early on to ensure that the victory went the way of the Wanderers.

Liverpool pulled a goal back through Mark Smyth and missed a penalty later on as Bolton keeper Chris Howarth saved well from midfielder John Welsh but the upturn in form for Bolton's second string manages to continue.
