A goal in each half from Finnish striker Njazi Kuqi gave Birmingham City reserves the three points against Bolton Wanderers reserves at Damson Park.

Jay-Jay Okocha, Radhi Jaidi and Henrik Pedersen all featured in the game against the Blues but where unable to influence the game in the Wanderers favour.

Young forward Kuqi opened the scoring on 20 minutes and managed to add his second and the winner in the closing minutes of the game as Bolton's indifferent start to 2005 continues.

Prior to the Christmas break the reserves where coming along nicely but at the moment they cannot seem to find any consistenc. Neil McDonald will be hoping to put that right in the next game against Aston Villa next Tuesday evening.
