Bolton Wanderers Reserves 0-2 WBA Reserves

Bolton Reserves suffered another defeat this week, this time at the hands of an experienced West Bromich Albion side that included the likes of Robert Earnshaw, Junichi Inamoto, Tomasz Kuszcak and Nathan Ellington.

Robert Davies got the visitors off to a perfect start when he slotted home in the third minute.

Bedi Buval and James Sinclair tested Polish keeper Kuszcak in the first half but before Bolton could convert good pressure into a vital goal, Bolton keeper Chris Howarth spilled the ball to Inamoto who gave West Brom an undeserved cushion.

Ellington and Earnshaw both had chances in the second half and Bolton couldn't produce a goal to bring themselves back into the game.

Lee Baker was sent off for two bookable offences in the second half but the Baggies held on to take all three points.
