Bolton reserves suffered they're second defeat of the season against Everton at Leyland on Monday evening.

Toffee's teenager Alan Kearney grabbed the only goal of the game after just two minutes. Victor Anichebe got on the end of a throw-in, turned his defender in the Trotters box then found Kearney with a cross that was blasted home.

Johann Smith had Wanderers best chance of the game when he turned neatly in the penalty area, driving a low shot in from 12 yards which hit the inside of the post before being cleared.

Bolton keeper Chris Howarth pulled off two important saves to keep the score respectable, firstly turning behind a shot from Li Tie, before scooping the ball off the line from a Everton corner.
