Chris Howarth had a suberb game on Monday night as Bolton reserves ground out a point in an even affair which saw the young Bolton keeper make a string of good saves to keep the Wanderers in it.

Johann Smith had a good shot saved by the on-loan Aston Villa keeper Stefan Postma after a lay off from fellow striker Leslie Thompson.

Bolton's best chance of the match came later on when Mark Ellis headed over from a Jarostaw Fojut free-kick. Wolves probably shaded the game overall with a good finish to the match but in the end both teams had to share the spoils.
