French veteran Youri Djorkaeff has indicated that he would like to return to England's top flight and has instructed his agent Willie McKay to find him a club in the next few weeks.

The 36-year old left Bolton in the summer after failing to agree on a fresh contract accusing the club of going back on their word and whilst disappointed not to be returning to the Trotters the ex-Monaco star is hoping another club will take a gamble on him.

"I was disappointed not to sign a new deal with Bolton, everything was agreed but as time went on we went our separate ways. I am missing playing in England and I feel I have a lot to offer to a club in the Premier League." he told SKY Sports

"I am a naturally fit person and I have been training hard in the south of france to keep fit. I have instructed agent Willie McKay to find me a club in England because I feel I have another two good years left in me."

McKay himself, is keen to set up a deal which will see the World Cup winner have another shot at England's top league and is hopeful that a Premiership side will coax the player back Britain. He is able to move outside the transfer window as a free agent.

"I met with Youri in the South of France and he is eager to have another go in England," he confirmed. He is a top, top professional and could easily do a job for a club in the higher reaches of the Premier League." .

From a Bolton perspective I would be disappointed to see Youri play for any other club than for the Wanderers as he had two fantastic years at the Reebok Stadium. However it might just make the club think twice in the future regarding contracts and such like.
