Whitlow Told To Look Elsewhere

Former Bolton Wanderers defender Mike Whitlow has been told he is surplus to requirements at Notts County, just three months after signing for the League Two side.

The 36-year old veteran, who made 132 appearances for the Wanderers between 1997 and 2003, is one of three players told that their futures lie elsewhere after talks with Magpies manager Gary Mills.

Whitlow will join David Pipe and Matthew Gill on the transfer list at Meadow Lane as Mills looks to pull the Nottinghamshire side away from the relegation places in the basement Division.
