West Ham have completed the signing of Israel international Yossi Benayoun for £2.5 million.
Bolton were also interested in Benayoun, but the midfielder has signed a four-year deal with The Hammers and is believed to have undergone a medical at Upton Park.
"We are delighted to have signed such a highly-rated player who was being chased by a number of other leading Premiership clubs," said managing director Paul Aldridge to the club's official website.
"I am sure he will become a huge favourite with our fans."
Benayoun's club, Racing Santander rejected a bid in the region of £1.8 million from the Trotters last week.
