Bolton will face Premiership opposition in the Carling Cup third round with a home game against West Ham United.
Manager Sam Allardyce said: "I will obviously have to rotate the squad for these games but it will have to be the best available to me if we are to go on in the Carling Cup."
"Hopefully the brick wall is still a long way off yet."
