Former Bolton utility man Paul Warhurst has been given the opportunity to secure a contract at Wrexham.
The 35-year-old has been known to play in the centre of defence, midfield and attack during his career and has been offered a trial by Wrexham boss Denis Smith.
Smith said, "He certainly brings a great deal of experience with him."
