Senegal coach Guy Roux has included Bolton Wanderers pair Khalilou Fadiga and El-Hadji Diouf in his squad to take on Cameroon in an international friendly next week.

Fadiga last played for Senegal in June 2003 before a heart condition disrupted his chances both on the domestic and national scene. Bolton manager Sam Allardyce told the clubs official site that it is fantastic news given the recent problems the former Inter Milan and Club Brugge player has had to contend with.

"This is fantastic news for Khalilou. He has come through a great deal in the past year and has shown all the necessary character to play at international level. He deserves the recall and from Senegal's point of view they will have fantastic talent to work with once again.

"We have shown a lot of faith in the player and as he continues to recapture the form that made him one of Africa's top players. He will be a great asset for both club and country.

"Khalilou is desperate to break into the first team, but he has to remain patient. His time will come and with his ability he will surely light up the Premiership."
