Khalilou Fadiga has confirmed that both he and countryman El-Hadji Diouf are settling into their new life at Bolton Wanderers in an atmosphere which he describes as carrying less pressure.

The Senegal internationals both left the bright lights and big city atmospheres of Milan and Liverpool respectively so that they could refresh their careers with Bolton and Fadiga says he is enjoying every minute of his time at the club - apart from the weather conditions that is.

"We like it here at Bolton, Dioufy and me. There is not one day when I ever think, 'Why did you come here?' I don't like the weather or it being so grey, but the people are so friendly. At a big team like Inter or maybe Liverpool there are too many people and you don't know who's doing what. But here it's a big family."

Fadiga made a successful return to first team action two weeks ago in the FA Cup game with Ipswich Town following a heart operation that was to keep him out of the game for two months.

Now the exciting African winger just wants to play more games for Bolton and prove to people that there is still a lot more to come from him out on the football field.
