Unsworth Talks Progressing - Allardyce

Bolton Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has confirmed that transfer talks with Everton defender David Unsworth are going well and is confident that the Chorley-born player with accept the terms offered to him by the Wanderers.


The 30-year old has been offered a three year deal to join the Reebok Stadium ranks and Bolton manager Allardyce beleives the former West Ham United man will be playing his football with the Trotters next season.

"Talks are progressing very well with David and we hope to reach an agreement soon.” he said

Allardyce also confirmed that the club have opened talks with Birmingham midfielder Aliou Cisse and once again he feels that the Senegal national captain will be moving to the Reebok Stadium as revealed by BoltonMAD yesterday lunchtime.

“Aliou is a player with a tremendous pedigree and will add some additional quality to our already talented squad. We are currently in talks and I’m confident that we can agree something.”
