David Unsworth - Bolton move off
The deal to bring Everton defender David Unsworth to Bolton Wanderers on a three-year contract has collapsed with the former England defender failing to agree personal terms with the club following negotiations over a move to Lancashire.

A switch to the Reebok Stadium seemed to be more or less agreed prior to the end of last season but given Bolton's 11th hour change of heart the former West Ham United player will face a race against time to find a new club in time for the new season as his contract with Everton comes to an end on Thursday enabling him to move under the Bosman ruling. The former West Ham player has rejected the opportunity to stay at Goodison Park on reduced terms and as yet no other clubs besides Bolton have made a concrete offer to land the experienced full back.

The official Bolton site www.bwfc.co.uk suggests that further interest will not be pursued in the Chorley born player bringing to an end weeks of speculation claiming that the deal was in doubt.
