The 29-year old has been an ever present in the Bolton back four since making his debut in the away game at Southampton back in August and Wanderers can ill afford to lose another defender given the fact that full back Nicky Hunt will be suspended for the visit of the Mancunians.
Should Jaidi fail to make the game then Bolton can either stick with veteran Fernando Hierro in the heart of the defence or give a recall to Julio Cesar, who has been out of the picture for a few matches.
