Siena have beaten off competition from West Brom, Parma, Lazio and Bolton to secure the services of Juventus defender Igor Tudor.
The Croatian enjoyed a fine loan spell at Siena last term and they have been striving to land his signature on a permanent basis.
Bolton had thought to had won the race for Tudor but when the defender did not show in England for talks boss Sam Allardyce feared the worst.
