Denmark coach Morten Olsen has hit back at suggestions that former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Stig Tofting will come out of international retirement to replace the ex-Celtic star Morten Wieghorst in his European Championship squad.

Tofting 34, retired from international football following his countrys exit from the 2002 World Cup in Japan and Korea and Olsen says that he has no wish to recall the former Hamburg and Duisburg player who is now back at his first club AGF Aarhus following a short spell in China with Taijin Taida.

"I have no comment on that. That would be the same as mentioning Michael Laudrup." Olsen said

The popular combative midfielder left Bolton early in 2003 following a number of off the field problems which resulted in a short spell in jail after an alleged assault outside a restaurant in Denmark. On top of all this "The Lawnmower" as he was known by supporters had to cope with the tragic death of his new born son.
