Hull City have completed a double transfer swoop by signing striker Delroy Facey and goalkeeper Sergei Leite on Free Transfers in readiness for their Coca Cola League One campaign.

Facey 24, arrives at the Kingston Commications Stadium just five months after leaving Bolton Wanderers for West Bromwich Albion and will link up once again with former Trotters youngster Jonathan Walters who is a big favourite amongst Tigers supporters.

The former Huddersfield Town striker had a stop/start time during his time at Bolton following his move from the Terriers in the summer of 2002. He was struck down with a life threatening virus following a training exercise in Poland and was then sent out on loan to both Bradford City and Burnley respectively then moving on to the Albion after less than a dozen games during his time with Sam Allardyce men.

Ex-Charlton goalkeeper Leite was unable to displace Republic of Ireland international stopper Dean Kiely at The Valley and was released to enable him to find a new club in time for the new season. His arrival on Humberside will compensate for the loss of fellow goalkeeper Alan Fettis who has moved to Macclesfield Town.

Meanwhile Leeds have confirmed they will have to pay a fee to Middlesbrough for striker Michael Ricketts should they secure promotion back to the Premiership. It had been thought that the Yorkshire side would aquire the former Bolton striker on a Free Transfer but this had been played down.
