Trotters boss Sam Allardyce recently ran the rule over the Swiss international, who has held discussions with the Premiership high flyers over a potential two-year contract.

The 20-year-old, who can also play in defence, admits some details need ironing out but revealed he is close to agreeing a deal to join the Lancashire club on a free transfer in the summer.

"I have been in talks with the British club's directors," Dzemaili told Albaniasoccer.com.

"They have expressed interest in me and have asked the club officials of FC Zurich for some information.

"In the next two or three days, I will be able to know more."

He added: "We are on the last chapter of our talks and we are looking over all the details of the contract.

"The possibility is for me to sign a two-year contract with the option for a third year, if things go well."

But Dzemaili insists he will not walk out on Zurich before the season ends which is when his contract runs out.

"I have agreed to play for FC Zurich in the championship and I will not break the agreement.

"If Bolton will be my future team, I will join the club next summer, after the league ends," he concluded.

Meanwhile, Sam Allardyce could be poised to make a shock swoop for Real Madrid defender Miguel Salgado during the transfer window.

The 31-year-old Spanish international right-back has been linked with a £2m move to the Reebok as possible cover for Nicky Hunt.

In more transfer news, Man Utd's Phil Bardsley has been also reportedly interesting Big Sam.
