Stelios Will Miss The France Game

Injury will once again rule out the Bolton midfielder Stelios Giannakopoulos as Greece hope to pull off yet another shock in this years European Championships facing the mammoth task of taking on the holders France in Lisbon this evening.

The Greeks take on "les bleus" knowing that a win against all the odds would dump out one of the worlds strongest international teams and in turn set themselves up for a Semi Final date against either the Czech Republic or Denmark next Thursday evening.

It is the furthest the Greeks have progressed in any major tournament but if they are to get anything out of the clash against the French they must improve on their last game - a 2-1 defeat by bottom of the group Russia in Faro last week.
