Aston Villa goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has said that he is looking forward to the Villa's Carling Cup Semi Final tie with Bolton Wanderers next month and is excited at the prospect of facing Wanderers Danish contingent.

The former Sunderland goalkeeper will come up against fellow countrymen Henrik Pedersen and Per Frandsen during the tie and says he expects that Bolton will pose his side a threat.

"Bolton have done really well lately. We drew 1-1 earlier this season, they are tougth to score against, there are a few Danish players in there and its a challenge but in a Semi Final anything can happen. We will have to be at our best to go through" he said

Sorensen played a key part in the Quarter Final win over Chelsea for David O'Leary's side when he made an excellent save to keep out a header by John Terry in what was a man of the match performance.
