Six Of The Best For Les

Last updated : 15 September 2004 By Mark Heys
A goal for Les Ferdinand during Saturday's 2-2 draw against Manchester United meant that the veteran forward became the first player to score for six different Premiership clubs since it's formation back in 1992.

Ferdinand had shared the record of scoring for five Premiership teams with journeyman forward Ashley Ward but the weekend strike for "Sir Les" against the Red Devils means that he now overtaken that feat.

The former England striker scored his first Premiership goals in a 3-1 win against Southampton back in August 1992 whilst with Queens Park Rangers and has since hit the target in the top flight for Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Leicester City and the Trotters.

At BoltonMAD we hope that there is more goals to come from Les and co.
