Sbragia To Replace McDonald

Manchester United are set to lose reserve-team boss Ricky Sbragia to Bolton and are likely to replace him with Brian McClair.

Bolton Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has been keen to strengthen his backroom staff following the loss of Phil Brown and Neil McDonald over the summer.

Sbragia joined United from Sunderland in 2002 but has been promised a more active role as first-team coach at the Reebok.

The 49 year old Scotsman been credited with overseeing the rise of John O'Shea, Darren Fletcher and Kieran Richardson from the youth ranks to the first team at United.
