Gonzalo de los Santos wants to play in England after being told he is not wanted at Valencia and Bolton have emerged as possible suitors for the Uruguayan midfielder.

"The coach of Valencia doesn't want me for the next season and I really don't want to be loaned again to another team so my future is being delayed because it's difficult to find a team that offers a four-year contract," said Santos.

"I can't talk to the officials of Valencia about being released from my contract until I receive an offer from another team."

The 29-year-old is currently training by himself and is desperate for a move, targeting England as his ideal destination.

"My agent is having many meetings and is negotiating my transfer with several teams," he added.

"There have been several offers but none of them official as yet. So in the meantime I keep on training myself so I am ready and fit for the team that decides to hire me.

"Because of this situation I don't want to stay at Valencia and my wish is to have the chance to play in England.

"There isn't anything concrete and I haven't spoken with Valencia about the chance of being out of contract because I haven't received any official offer from any team yet but I would like to have the chance to play in England."
