Sam To Shed Seven - Report

A report in today's Sunday People is claiming that Sam Allardyce is willing to listen to offers for seven of his first team squad in an attempt to raise money during the January transfer window.

The tabloid claims to have seen a confidential memo sent out by Allardyce to other managers telling them that a number of Bolton players are available should they receive the right offer.

Henrik Pedersen, Fernando Hierro, Anthony Barness, Blessing Kaku, Florent Laville, Julio Cesar and Kevin Poole are all alleged to be on the list of those up for grabs.

Pedersen recently comitted himself to the club in the autumn and has struck 10 goals in all competitions this season -his best ever goals haul in the Trotters first eleven since signing from Silkeborg in 2001.

Meanwhile Allardyce has confirmed that he is still looking hard to bring in players over the next few weeks but has so far been unsuccessful in recruiting the players that he has targeted.

"There's nothing happening at all at the moment, sadly, We are trying our very best and what we've targeted hasn't come off. I just hope that something will come our way in the next week or two." he told the official site
