Sam Jumps To The Defence Of Ben-Haim

Bolton Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has defended Tal Ben-Haim after the Israelian captain was charged with improper conduct following his clash with Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney.

The Trotters had confirmed earlier in the day that they would be appealing against the decision and Allardyce has jumped to the defence of the former Maccabi Tel Aviv player Ben-Haim claiming that the 22-year old was the victim of the incident.

"Ben Haim has not done anything wrong and he has not broken any rules." the Bolton boss said
