Bolton Wanderers chairman Phil Gartside has said that he has no intentions of losing manager Sam Allardyce to Newcastle United.

Allardyce has been mentioned in a number of tabloids as the man to replace Sir Bobby Robson on Tyneside but the Wanderers cheif Gartside is adamant that the Big Sam will complete the remaining five years of his ten year contract.

"Sam Allardyce is five years into a ten year contract at Bolton Wanderers. He is committed to rewriting the history of this Club.

"As far as I am concerned Sam has only written the first page and is dedicated to finishing that job.I have a special relationship with Sam and I am sure he will want to finish the job here and create a legacy." he said
