Sam Has More Praise For Pedersen

Bolton Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce heaped praise on Henrik Pedersen, who won them a penalty in yesterday's 1-0 victory at Manchester City yesterday.

"Henrik moved up from left-back and continued to play exceptionally well," he said.

"He caused them problems and brought us an opportunity to win the game.

"We deserved the penalty thanks to our play.

"We have nicked it but it reminds me of our game against Everton a few weeks ago when they pinched a victory."

Meanwhile, Bolton Wanderers are back in talks with former AS Roma defender Traianos Dellas.

The Greek international had been strongly linked with a move to Lazio, as well as AEK Athens, but Bolton could now be ready to lure him to The Premiership.

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce is turning to fellow Greek Stelios Giannakopoulos to convince his national teammate to join him at the Reebok stadium this season.
