Sam could move again for Kanu

Bolton Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce is today being linked with a fresh move for Arsenal striker Kanu, after the Nigerian international was frozen out of the first team picture at Highbury.

The former Ajax star rejected an initial move to the Reebok Stadium over the summer as well as moves abroad to the Far East but Allardyce is hoping that the presence of countryman Jay-Jay Okocha at Bolton will be enough to tempt the African to join the Trotters ranks in January, however any move for the player would depend on him taking a pay cut as he is on a huge salary with the Gunners.

Any speculated move for the player is set to be on a loan deal only but it is thought that the number one target for the Bolton manager is still the Tottenham Hotspur misfit Sergei Rebrov who's work permit problems denied the Ukraine striker a deadline day move to the club.
