“Madrid derbies back in Spain were always exciting games to see,” he told The Bolton News. “This is my first real derby here in the Premier League but I know it will be a good atmosphere. I hope that Bolton win this one.
“Blackburn are a physical team but that doesn’t worry me. We have physical players too, and we can win the game this way. I think if we work hard to play football, we will win the match.”
“I think it is a big chance for me. The team has been playing very well and I have had to work hard.
“If the gaffer decides to give me a chance then I want to do the best for my team-mates.
“I’m very happy here. I like the Premier League and Bolton’s style of football. It is a little bit different from Spain but then that is normal, it’s a different league.
“I think with this style of football we can win matches, so we don’t have to change. It suits me well.”
