The 26-year old agreed to join the Eagles yesterday but league cheifs have blocked the move due to the player already being on loan to Bolton from Jamaican club Village United where he is expected to complete a permanent transfer at the end of this season.
It now leaves Palace short on cover for regular goalkeeper Cedric Berthelin as another former loanee Thomas Myhre has since returned to Sunderland following a temporary spell in London.
