Neil Redfearn - on the move
Former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Neil Redfearn has been appointed as the new player/assistant manager of Nationwide Conference side Scarborough following his release by Third Division Rochdale at the end of last season.

Redfearn will be 39 next week and despite his veteran status has shown no signs of age during a career which has seen him represent 13 different clubs in a 22 year career including spells in the Premiership with both Charlton Athletic and Bradford City.

Now the tough tackling Yorkshireman will get a chance to further his coaching experience as the right hand man to Nick Henry, a former team mate of Redfearn who has just been appointed the new man in charge at the McCain Stadium.
